向道平，男，博士，博士后，三级教授，研究员，博士生导师，海南省“南海名家”人选，海南省领军人才，南海海洋资源利用国家重点实验室首批固定研究人员，海南大学自然科学领域“金属陶瓷及海洋腐蚀”科研创新团队负责人。中国材料研究学会青年委员会第七至九届理事会常务理事、第十届理事会高级理事，中国材料研究学会多孔材料分会委员，国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家，教育部学位中心硕博士论文评审专家，广西、山东、安徽科学技术奖评审专家，广东、陕西科技项目评审专家。
